Dans le cadre d'un appel à participation international lancé avec PEP - photographic exploration project, des artistes ont été invité·es à partager leur vision de l'ère post-industrielle et des défis auxquels nous devrons faire face, ainsi qu'à explorer l'essence des mondes naturels à préserver ou à réinventer. Les photographies d'une quarantaine d'artistes ont été sélectionnées pour composer cette exposition collective.

(Im)possible Worlds propose une approche poétique de notre planète à l'ère de l'Anthropocène et explore les différentes questions qu'elle soulève. Quel est l'impact de l'activité humaine sur l'environnement et le climat ? Avons-nous atteint un point de non-retour ou pouvons-nous envisager des alternatives viables pour l'avenir ? Quelle est notre relation avec la nature, le cosmos et ses éléments ? Quel est le rôle de l'humain en tant qu'espèce sur cette planète ?

Through an international open call with PEP - photographic exploration project, artists were invited to share their visions on our post-industrial era and the challenges that we will have to face, as well as to explore the essence of natural worlds to be preserved or reinvented. Photographs by some forty artists have been selected for this group show.

(Im)possible Worlds present a poetic approach to our planet in the age of the Anthropocene and explore the different questions that it raises. What is the impact of human activity on the environment and climate? Have we reached a point of no return, or can we envision viable alternatives for the future? What is our relationship with nature, the cosmos and its elements ? What is the role of humans as a species on this planet?
