The festival will open its doors to the public in a weekend filled with events attended by photographers, curators, editors, members of the press and the general public.
Friday June 5

10:30 a.m., French Cultural Center Freiburg, Freiburg im Breisgau : a conversation between artist Manuela Marques and author Nicolas Bézard within the exhibition Scope of transformations
The discussion will be followed by a brunch
1:30 p.m., Morat-Hallen, Freiburg im Breisgau : guided tour of Sediments of Memory by the curators
4 p.m., departure from the Adrien Zeller forecourt, on the trainstation side: inaugural tour of Cardinal Point V by the students and their professors
6.30 p.m. Fine Arts Museum : official launch of the festival + opening of the exhibitions Sedimentation(s) - a constellation and Limits of control

As part of its opening days, the festival is hosting two afternoons dedicated to contemporary photography publishing.
The program includes public discussions, lectures, presentations, and book signings that reflect the vitality and diversity of photography publishing.
