« Alisa Resnik photographie la vie et son reflet, la fragilité, la grâce, la mélancolie, la solitude. La nuit est son univers poétique. Sa série One another pourrait d'ailleurs être l'histoire d'une nuit unique et interminable qui unit Berlin et Saint-Petersbourg. Une nuit sans fin qui ne connaît pas la lumière de l'aube, qui s'étend sur des villes désertes et glisse dans des intérieurs aux moquettes et banquettes usées où, sur fond de rideaux et papiers peints délavés, des personnages passent ou posent devant et pour la photographe. » Laura Serani

Laura Serani, commissaire d'exposition et de projets photographiques et audiovisuels, critique et consultante, collabore régulièrement avec des institutions et des festivals à niveau international. Déléguée artistique du Mois de la Photo à Paris 2014 et de l'édition 2008,  Directrice artistique des dernières Rencontres de Bamako, Biennale africaine de la Photographie, au Mali en 2009 et 2011, Laura Serani collabore régulièrement avec Fotografia Europea - Reggio Emilia en Italie.


Alisa Resnik photographs life and its reflection, fragility, grace, melancholy and solitude. Out of a troubling and anguished universe she constructs an image where above all one feels her profound empathy for the people and places she photographs. 

Alisa Resnik (b. 1976 in St. Petersburg, Russia) moved to Berlin, Germany, in 1990. After studying Art History in Berlin and Bologna she began photographing in 2008. Her work has been exhibited in Rome, Milan, Madrid and at the Rencontres d'Arles, selected among the PhotoEspaña 2009 Descubrimientos and among the new talents at the Musée Suisse de l'appareil Photographique in Vevey. She received awards by Winephoto Contest in 2008 and 2009.

Laura Serani, curator of exhibitions, as well as photographic and audiovisual projects, critic and consultant, regularly collaborates with institutions and festivals on an international scale. Artistic delegate of Mois de la Photo in Paris 2014 and in 2008, artistic director of the last Rencontres de Bamako, African Photography Biennial, in Mali in 2009 and 2011, Laura Serani regularly collaborates with Fotografia Europea - Reggio Emilia in Italy.
