The artist couple Matthias Bumiller (DE) and Nathalie Wolff (FR) show the anomalies, absurdities or the poetic which appear in the organization of town planning or in the configurations of western housing. By means of a playful and poetic approach to the town, the artist couple invite the spectator to play with images and words by using postcards and the creation of artists books, in a constant invitation to reinvent the commonplace.

Solar eclipse of 11th August 1999 : Nathalie Wolff(Paris) and Matthias Bumiller (Stuttgart)are creating total eclipse editions, with the firm intention of publishing their own books, flip-books and series of postcard photographs. Since that day, with the rhythm of one book per year, through exhibitions and projects, the common practice of these two ex-stipend artists of the Akademie Scholss Solitude (Stuttgart)continues.

The new total eclipse book, the flip book HOULA HOP, is specially conceived and made for PLAY & REPLAY.
