The association encourages reflection on the photographic medium, its transformations and its uses in the field of contemporary art. Its main activity is the organization of the BPM &#8211; Biennale de la Photographie de Mulhouse.<\/p>\n<p>L&rsquo;Agrandisseur is a member of the <a href=\"https:\/\/reseau-lux.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">R\u00e9seau L U X<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/plandest.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Plan d&rsquo;Est<\/a> networks.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"small\">Membership<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>By joining L&rsquo;Agrandisseur, you are showing your support for its activities, such as organizing the BPM &#8211; Biennale de la Photographie de Mulhouse.<br \/>\nMembership in the association also gives you the opportunity to become actively involved in its projects.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><iframe id=\"haWidgetButton\" style=\"width: 100%; height: 70px; border: none;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.helloasso.com\/associations\/l-agrandisseur\/adhesions\/adhesion-2026\/widget-bouton\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h1><span class=\"theme_color\">Art direction<\/span><\/h1>\n<p>Artistic direction of the BPM is entrusted to Anne Immel\u00e9, photographer and Doctor of Art. Her curatorial work is often based on a spatial understanding of places and on the association of photographs with one another, as demonstrated by the exhibition <em>those eyes, these eyes, they fade<\/em> (Galerie Valetta Contemporary, Malta, 2022). Her curatorial research stems from a doctoral thesis entitled <em>Constellations photographiques<\/em>, defended in 2007 at the University of Strasbourg and published by M\u00e9diapop \u00c9ditions in 2015. Her interest in the field of contemporary photography is also reflected in articles published in Art Press magazine.<\/p>\n<p>A photographer, she\u00a0 is the author of several books, including <em>WIR<\/em> with philosopher Jean-Luc Nancy (\u00c9ditions Filigranes), <em>Oublie Oublie<\/em>, and <em>Jardins du Riesthal<\/em>, published by M\u00e9diapop in 2020 and 2022.\u00a0Her photographic work is regularly exhibited, as in 2019 at Fondation Fernet-Branca (Saint-Louis) for a solo show, in 2022 at Galerie Mad\u00e9 (Parcours Paris Photo x Elles). Her recent project <em>Melita , \u05de\u05dc\u05d8 -ml\u1e6d, Refuge<\/em> explores the contemporary migratory condition in the Mediterranean, linking it to the ancestral quest for refuge. Supported by the CNAP&rsquo;s aid to documentary photography, this project took shape in 2024, with various exhibitions during the Malta Biennial of Contemporary Art, in Palermo (CNAP&rsquo;s SUITES program), during the Jaou festival in Tunis, and at Stimultania, the project&rsquo;s supporting structure in Strasbourg.
